Our Approach

The Katz Consulting Group, Inc.'s approach and scope of services for each engagement reflects the specific nature, deadlines and budget of each individual client.  We believe that our role is to provide information to support management decision-making, to acknowledge and address political implications and organizational realities, and to assist clients in finding win-win solutions.  It is our goal to prepare clients to continue the planning process using internal resources after the consulting team concludes the defined scope of work.

The consulting approach we have found to be most successful is both process and action oriented.  The process typically involves the identification of a client liaison and Task Force, with whom we can interact on a regular basis.  In most cases, highly focused internal and external data is collected and analyzed, and confidential interviews with key constituencies are conducted.  This allows our consulting team to understand the perceptions, priorities, and goals of key organizational players, and therefore to recommend strategies that have the greatest potential of success.  A significant aspect of our role is often to identify and present reliable, factual data which should be evaluated and used to influence decision-making.  All too often, organizations select courses of action based on misperceptions, isolated experiences and unexamined assumptions.  The Katz Consulting Group, Inc. works diligently on each engagement to ensure that a common foundation of relevant and appropriate information is available to all parties who will be involved in the selection and implementation of a specific strategy.

Every consulting engagement that we conduct is documented through the development of written interim progress reports and final reports.  We are comprehensive in our exploration of the facts, analysis of alternative strategies and development of recommendations.  We have sophisticated database, graphics and production capabilities, resulting in products that are reflective of the high quality standards we have set.
